The Dayton Runnin Broncos Boys basketball pulled off a major win Friday 1/6/17 against district rival Barbers Hill 53-51. The Game was a nail-biter that came down to last seconds of the game. With 30 seconds left in the game, Zack Brown hit the game winning shot to put the Broncos up by 1. Barbers Hill had plenty of time to capitalize with the time left. Barbers Hill even got two offensive rebounds in the last seconds of the game, but could not finish and ultimately lost. In an Interview with Demarea Julius, he said that “The team had a great 3rd quarter push,” which kept them in the game. Archie Myles lead the Broncos with 17 points and Max Armer lead the Eagles with 26 points. Demarea also said the game plan at first was to force Max to score, “But after he got in a rhythm he was hard to stop.” The Broncos were very excited about their win and looking forward to more games!
