Engineering Math students “weighed in” with their bridge constructions last week.  Teams assembled various beam and truss members, which they had been studying prior to the project, for their designs.  They were built with popsicle sticks, glue, and wire.  Scoring depended on how much load the bridge could hold over a half meter gap. This year’s class really set the bar high.  First place held 341.7 lbs.
